Are you Ready to XPLORE?

What is an Xplore package vehicle? Why would I want to purchase an Xplore vehicle? According to the Xplore Action Series website:

“XPLORE Adventure Series vehicles are designed to deliver the great outdoors to your driveway and provide a way that you and your family can enjoy and support America’s greatest treasures, our National Parks.  Each XPLORE vehicle comes with a free Annual Pass to all of the National Parks and Monuments.”

So if you are looking for an off road vehicle that you can take your family on some amazing adventures with, than this is the vehicle for you!

But if their goal is to support the national parks while providing a quality product, how do they accomplish this? Well, “Each Xplore package vehicle sold delivers a donation to the National Park Foundation!”

So what do you get when you you purchase an Xplore package vehicle? Each one is built differently, and at Toyota of Escondido we currently have two Xplore Series vehicles in our showroom for sale. We have an Xplore Series Toyota Tacoma, and an Xplore Series Toyota FJ Cruiser.

For starters, the Tacoma used for creating the Xplore Series truck already has off road accessories. We use a 4×4 Toyota Tacoma with the TRD Off-Road package installed. So before the Xplore series makeover, this Toyota Tacoma is equipped with:

  • Biltsein shocks
  • Electronically controlled locking rear differential
  • Active Traction Control (A-Trac)
  • Hill Start Assist Control (HAC)
  • Downhill Assist Control (DAC)
  • Fog lamps
  • Class 4 hitch

With the solid foundation of the Off-Road TRD Tacoma 4×4 we add the perks of the Xplore Series, and we end up with a vehicle purely built for the outdoor enthusiast! The Xplore series features include:

  • BFG KM2 Mud Terrain Tires
  • Xplore/Method 17″ Aluminum wheels, black powder coat
  • Magnaflow Stainless steel catback exhaust
  • Xplrore adventure series interior and exterior badges
  • Xplore Graphics
  • OME 2.5″ suspension lift
  • ARB Front Bumper
  • Xplore Rock Rails
  • ARB / Simpson roof tent
  • Xplore Bed Rack
  • ARB Recovery Gear
  • ARB fridge / freezer
  • Special interior trim
  • Special paint and wraps

Now you are definitely ready for the “Great Outdoors.” The Xplore Series Toyota Tacoma 4×4 TRD has an MSRP of $56,485.00.

Or maybe you don’t want a lifted truck with all the goodies to go on adventures in, maybe you are more of the SUV type. If so than a more fitting option would be the Xplore Series Toyota FJ Cruiser! Once again we start with a 4×4 FJ Cruiser, which pre-Xplore package already includes:

  • A-Trac
  • Electronically Controlled Locking Rear Differential
  • 115V / 400 watt AC power outlet
  • JBL Audio package
  • Backup Sonar

This Toyota FJ Cruiser is already a fun adventure machine before the Xplore Series additions. To add to these great features, this FJ is loaded with:

  • BFG All Terrain tires
  • Xplore / Method Aluminum wheels
  • Bilstein 5100 Shocks
  • Magnaflow stainless steel catback exhaust system
  • Xplore interior and exterior badges
  • ARB Front Bumper
  • ARB Rock Sliders
  • ARB Roof Rack
  • ARB Snorkel
  • ARB Recovery Gear
  • ARB Camp Chairs
  • ARB Roof-Top Tent
  • ARB fridge / freezer
  • Warn Winch

The Xplore Series Toyota JF Cruiser 4×4 comes at the price of $53,005.00. This is the perfect SUV for all of your off-road adventures!
